Bottle to tulip.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking ruddy burnt orange color with a quickly falling off little bubbly white head. Little bit of concave lace.
The aroma brought forth a full lush apricot sweet fleshy character rolling into some creamy sweet vanilla almost lactose-like notes. Sly lemon rind and juiciness. Light grassiness.
The flavor leaned more towards the sour edge encompassing the apricot skin with some tartness. Mild aftertaste of apricot skin, semi-sour and bright tart crisp character.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch closer to full. Good carbonation and some stickiness. Light pucker. Finishes crisp with some apricot sweetness.
Overall, pretty nice fruited sour ale pulling in all of the aspects of squeezed apricots. Very nice for late Summer!
