One of my favorites! It's a blond stout so don't expect that deep, mouth coating feel. It's not quite light but easy to drink. The coffee comes through well, which is part of the reason I love it. You can sip it and enjoy or have 3 or 4 and still enjoy it. Won't overwhelm with complexity, it's just a damn good beer. If you like coffee and enjoy a lighter stout then don't miss it.

No smooth luscious mouthfeel and depth of taste to go with the coffee and nuttiness. The coffee comes across as burnt almost acrid bitterness. Faint sweetness. No significant maltiness. Coffee and vanilla in the nose. Maybe I’m biased against blonde stouts. Maybe I should do a blind side-by- side with a regular American stout. A beautiful looking pils. But for now, not a highly rated stout.
