16 oz can into a Becker.
L: SRM 4.5 pours a slightly clouded dull gold color with a thin white head that recedes to edge foam, steady light carbo, a few random spots of lacing.
S: A light fruity mix, caramelized malts, a hint of earthy dankness.
T: Lemon zest, grapefruit zest, a fruit blend, it is lightly robust, fruit tastes are moderately tart, a note of dry yellow fruit bread in the lingering finish.
F: Crisp, brisk, medium bodied slightly juicy feel with a medium-long drying finish. It has good luster.
O: An impressive WCIPA. Spot on with the citrus zest and dry finish. Tastes are bold and there is a hint of dankness. This one hits the bullseye on target. Great job! It is excellent in its style.

From a 16oz can with no date on the can.
This beer does look a bit more murky than a west coast IPA should look like. It is golden in color with a 2 finger frothy white head. Head retention is decent, and there's good lacing on the glass.
Aroma is dominated by the hops. The hop aroma seems to be more citrus in character than pine.
Taste - Well, the flavor is full on pine and pleasingly bitter. I have no idea where the tropical aroma came in, but it is so not in the flavor. Maybe faint mango, but so faint. Bitterness lingers.
I am burping up hops. Pleasing bitter feeling. Full bodied.
Very happy with this beer. It delivers what I am looking for in this style.

I bought a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from the supermarket in International Falls, Minnesota just before heading into Canada to watch my son's exhibition SIJHL hockey games. It has all the common characteristics of west coaster ipas....it has bitter pine and citrus presence.

Pours a clear light golden color with a thin white head. Smell is citrus pine and dank herbal notes . taste follows nose with citrus/grapefruit notes some mango and pine resin with baked bread malts . Mouth feel is nicely bittered with pine and graprfruit, An average WCIPA, not a problem to kill this pounder

L: bright amber gold with a slight chill haze under a 3" light beige cap with good retention. The beer is lacy with streams of rapidly rising bubbles.
S: Piny, resiny hop aromas with traces of citrus, garlic, onion and biscuit.
T: lightly sweet biscuit balanced by medium high bitterness. The bitterness blends citrus rind, tea and herbal notes. An astringent note from the hops dries things out on the finish.
F: Medium body and carbonation
O: A big bold bitter IPA

Batch 92/93 crowler filled 03/29. Pours amber with a slight haze. A thick dense head forms. Plenty of lacing is left down the glass. Suitably hoppy aroma for a West Coast IPA with mostly pine and floral elements. It goes off the rails a little bit in the flavor however. It is a little astringent with the floral flavors dominating. Also seems a bit under attenuated. I trust my palate, something is not right here. Not going to be too harsh however. The body is nice and it is nicely carbonated.
