Made in the Northeast/New England style, this juicy IPA is made with a huge whirlpool and dry hop addition of a blend of Citra, Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Loral hops. This one is hazed with copious amounts of flaked oats and wheat and fermented with some of the haziest yeast available.

I bought a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from the supermarket in International Falls, Minnesota just before heading into Canada to watch my son's exhibition SIJHL hockey games. It has all the common characteristics of hazy ipas....it has bitter pine and citrus presence.

Pours a hazy gold color with a nice white head and lacing.Smell is fruity with citrus and berries. taste has grapefruit ,oranges and mongo. Mouth is creamy smooth from the flaked oats but finishes with some nice pine bitterness. Its tasty and has a lower ABV at 6.2%.

I enjoyed this beer immensely. In a word, balanced. It's what I expected and hoped for. I'll purchase again.

Pours a hazy, murky orange color. 2 finger white head. The head retention is so-so. There's no lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is nice and hoppy. I get a lot of citrus in the aroma. Mango, grapefruit.
Taste - A nice mango flavor. There's just the faintest hint of pine on the backside. Some orange.
The body is lighter than I was expecting. Slightly juicy. The hops linger for a bit in my throat.
Decent IPA from Klockow.

L: hazy straw gold permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 3/4" off-white cap with fair retention.
S: resin, citrus, trace of dank, orange, candy, hint of vanilla
T: Flavors follow the aroma. Has a big citrus rind bitterness that is balanced very well by the malt and flavors evoking fresh squeezed orange juice.
F: very creamy, juicy, medium full body, medium low carbonation.
O: This is a nice drinkable full flavored beer but it is hard to imagine drinking more than at a siting.

Poured from crowler into glass. No dating information on the label, but appears to be a recent release and purchased from France 44/Edina MN.
Murky, pale gold colored body. One finger off white head settles to interrupted cap and thin ring. Leaves behind a few scattered spots of lacing.
Total hop dominance in the aroma - orange citrus, floral, and pine. Has a little cattiness too. Smell is readily apparent upon the opening of the can.
The hops continue in the taste, with juicy citrus/orange, some floral, with lots of piney bitterness. Pine resin at the end.
Mouth feel is thin for a hazy IPA, and slightly less than coating or pillowy. Okay carbonation.
Hop dominance with an aspect that is quite bitter, and without enough sweet juiciness to balance out. Also is lacking in mouth feel. Just too unbalanced with a thin bitterness that prevents this beer from being an inviting big gulp experience.
