Sampled this beer at the Newcastle Arms in Newcastle.
Appearance is a clear, copper beer with creamy, dense head, almost like a nitro-head.
Smell is light malty with a light smoky and woody hint. No real hoppy notes. A good amount of English fruitiness.
Taste is malty with definate wood notes, that are accentuated by the dry mouthfeel. It makes the beer a bot astringent. Bitterness is low. Body is quite thin and aftertaste is a bit sweet and short.
