Handpumped in the Newcastle Arms in Newcastle. A clear golden beer with a thin head and served in a big pint.
Smell is fresh and a little citrus and an English fruitiness.
Taste is biscuity with carahell notes, I mean sweet maltiness which at first does not seem to fit the beer, but after a couple of gulps it balances the fine hoppiness. The hops taste like Fuggles or Styrian Goldings, which are citric. Body is very light, just a little too light for me. Drinkability is great, even after a pint at 4,2% still nothing wrong with me.
