A: opaque; very dark brown in color; 1+ finger finely pored medium brown head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;
S: roasted peanuts;
T: a combination of roasted peanuts and deeply roasted grain that doesn't come together well; mild to moderate bitterness on the finish; if you wait, the aftertaste is a nice blend of chocolate and peanut butter - too bad the beer didn't taste that way the whole way through;
M: medium to full bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: the flavor was uninviting;
