I am so sorry Half Batch Brewing, but this Back Seat IPA is HORRIBLE. It is not good at all, and I am not a professional beer taster; however I have a decent palate for good beer. This is NOT it!

Clear copper liquid , no foam, spotty lacings , a small foam island
Aroma is malty , slight sweetness
Taste is malty, bready
Sudsy, slight hop nibble, semi dry finish

L: slightly hazed golden-copper body; frothy off-white head
S: muted; some pine, light grain, apple, white grape
T: earthy pine, pithy grapefruit, light caramel malt, apricot, apple
F: medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter & semi-dry resinous finish
O: this was just ok

Pours a nice looking hazy golden color with touches of orange in the color . Nice thumb sized white head falls slow and laces well enough.
Aroma is bready malts, light tropical fruit aromas with some light pine notes following behind lightly sweet smelling. Over all kind of subdued for an IPA hard to pick out specifics pineapple with touches of grapefruit would be my guess. Kind of smells like the Blue Moon of IPA's.
Taste is more fruity New England style then American , pineapple, mango light grapefruit hints on a base that is sweet with a good malt backbone. Finish is lightly bitter with herbal and pine resin hints. Canned on 7/12/18 at least I hope i was and that is not the best buy date.
Mouthfeel is nice medium body good medium level of carbonation, nothing to distract from the brew at all anyway.
Overall eh when the best thing you can say about an IPA is its sweet malt base its not great, it is not that it is horrible just kind of eh nothing jumping out and grabbing my taste buds. A Blue Moon kind of IPA.
