Sampled at the brewery.
Poured a hazy golden with an average head.
Smell suggests tropical fruit.
Fair mouth feel.
Bright taste with hints of fruit.
Little bitterness.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a big fizzy head, and a lot of lacing.

This smells like lemon, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine.

This has some decent hop character, but there’s an odd prickly finish here – weirdly effervescent and weirdly bitter. It might be a weird carbonation thing, but I’m really not sure – it almost feels like fountain Sprite or something. It’s really hard to explain.

This is light bodied, with a weird and not smooth finish.

I think something went slightly awry in the brewing of this beer. There’s the bones of a solid IPA here, but the bones are kinda brittle.

Had on tap. Pours ultra hazy, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is orange and lime. Slightly bitter, low carbonation, medium heavy body. Better than expected but not quite with the big boys.

everyone is on in the hazy game now, and this is better than a lot of them from a hop profile standpoint, but it falls into familiar traps a little bit, one being the oversaturated hop burn it finishes with when it warms up even a little bit, the other being the excessive body from the hazy, like the weight of this doesnt match the light bright summery hop flavors, citra and some southern hemisphere varietal or two it seems. its not easy drinking even though the flavors kind of ask for that, and the body is there without much of a flavor contribution from the grain or the yeast, so it seems unnecessary to me. that said, the hops are fresh as can be, mostly dry hopped i have to imagine, and they combine well, i taste them from start to finish, tangerine, green grape, under ripe pear, very summery and pleasant, even a little tropical without being a juice bomb. the beer is fermented pretty dry, the carbonation is good, and this has a ton of potential but remains in need of some cleaning up texturally speaking. glad to see this place popping off when i was in, not a seat to be had on a rainy sunday afternoon, some solid beers but none of the ones i had were next level this time around.
