Nice deep brown pour with a bubbly tan head that holds up pretty well and laces a bit. Roasty malt nose segues to deep roast flavor with coffee, chocolate and licorice in support. This London-style porter is not short on taste and makes for a treat on a chill winter night.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, smoke, dark roast coffee, licorice, and dark chocolate.
This would be a solid base porter without the coffee, which is a good step fot this porter. It's got a nice clean bitter and herbal roast character, with bitter dark chocolate, and some smokey licorice type flavors. The coffee is melded well into the base, highlighting it rather than overwhelming it, add a bright and slightly acidic roast character, and some dark fruit.
This is medium bodied, a bit thin (as to be expected, with this style), but very drinkable and clean.
This is a nice little beer, with a subtle but excellent coffee character.
