On tap at Cooperstown Distillery in Saratoga, NY.
This one pours a golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like light roast and lots of toasty bready malt, with some bitter hops.
This is pretty solid - I'm happy and a little bit surprised that Bolton Landing did such a good job with this one. It didn't really seem like their area of expertise overall. It's toasty, with the right amount of sweetness, and a solid little hoppy bitterness on the back end.
This is medium bodied, both creamy and crisp, with a good drinkability.
I very much enjoyed this one.

From a 16oz can dated 8/25 or 28/21 (hard to read it). From the Untappd website: “A traditional German festbier, released just in time to celebrate the beginning of fall. This beer is clean, crisp, with a complex malt body that begins with a mild sweetness of light caramel and finishes clean and dry with toasted cereal, bread, and a reserved bitterness.” Nice.
