Imperial Stout Aged In Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels for 12 Months.
Urban Lumberjack is our anniversary beer, released annually in December using local maple syrup, locally roasted coffee and the finest vanilla beans we can find. This lumberjack batch was aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 12 months, further adding to the rich chcocolate, vanilla, roasty complexities of this beer with charred oak and sweet whiskey. Ages well at cellar temperatures.

Outrageous! Like it’s non barrel predecessor, maple coffee and vanilla well balanced, however the bourbon stands out much more than I expected for 12 months in the barrel. Bourbon may actually take away from the adjuncts, but personally ok with me. Velvety smooth, thick, killer aroma. Must try!
