At the tap room, into a willibecher. .looks absolutely fantastic.: dense and cloudy glowing honey tangerine, with a fluffy white head, not much retention but good lacing. Nose is muted, but I get some melon, some overripe orange…I just don’t get much.. Taste is much more distinct…first few sips I didn’t like it, but it grew on me: some dry and slightly bitter citrus pith and peel, some goose berry (or some other kind of berry), definitely a lot of melon (honeydew?) on the front and the back end. Mouthful is pretty satisfying - pillowy, layered, substantial without being heavy.

According to the website: hop bill is Galena, Amarillo, Citra, and Mackinac (not familiar with the last). Malt bill: 2-Row, Munich, C-10, Dextrin, Oat malt, Golden Naked Oats, Flaked Wheat, and Chit.
