Pours a pitch black color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is good. Smells just like chocolate ice cream. Sweet. Very sweet taste. Chocolate ice cream with a little bit of bitterness at the end. Medium to heavy bodied with moderate carbonation. This brew is quite tasty.

A: Pours a dark black color. Not entirely opaque, but close. A small tan head can't rise to two fingers. No lace is left behind.
S: Roasted malts with some chocolate and coffee. I don't get much else in the nose. A little disappointing considering all that supposedly went into this.
T: More roasted malts that follows the nose. Bitter roasted coffee, and as this warms more milk chocolate comes out. An acrid bitterness lingers for a bit, but then fades off to nothing.
M/O: A medium to full body. I thought this would have a much bigger body considering the alcohol and additives. Though the carbonation is a bit low, even for an imperial stout milk stout. OK to drink, but not really something I am looking for all that often.
There are a lot of good Milk Stouts, imperial and regular strength around Houston. This is not one of the better ones. It is OK and nothing particularity wrong, but just rather lifeless.
