Look: Rose-colored like you’d imagine papaya juice.
Smell: is overwhelming; the citra hops and papaya smack you in the face and emit a tropical vibe that tamped down my reluctance to try a “fruity” IPA.
Taste: straight up papaya-fused NEIPA. Surprisingly tart and grapefruity. Very refreshing considering the amount of hops.
Feel: a bit of lingering citrus zing on the tongue and perfectly carbonated.
Overall: delicious and worth a try. First dance with this brewery at a tap takeover at Craft Pride in Austin and I was not disappointed.
