Smells just like Count Chocula. A Strong chocolate and coffee taste. It has a creamy and viscous mouthfeel.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short beige colored head that quickly settled down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of marshmallows are present in the nose along with notes of chocolate.
T: The taste follows the smell and is packed with lots of flavors of marshmallows.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied, creamy and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You can definitely get a sense that this beer is strong given its fuller body but it does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.
Serving type: can

Magic 8 ball black with a moderate puffy tan head that settles slowly to a thick airy blanket rounding the edge with a quarter pipe.
The beginning is sweet chocolate with a hint of tobacco, while the middle has a little more roast that's even a little woody, ending with vanilla on the exhale and a slight alcohol sting.
The smooth medium-full body has a softly mild froth. The power dry finish has an unusually unexpected peanutty aftertaste.
Actually, this is not all that pastry-forward, especially relative to their other pastry stouts. It's largely a balanced American imperial stout. A good roll around tongue allows the marshmallow to bloom a bit, but that is tempered by the nuttiness.

Pours a pitch black color with a thin foamy head. Mild retention and lacing. Dark chocolate aroma with some marshmallow. Marshmallow taste with chocolate coating. Good. A little lighter bodied than I like.
Edit 10/24/20 - Thicker foamy head, good retention, excellent lacing and much thicker and creamier this time around
Edit 3/28/21 - OH yeah! Chocolate comes out very nicely now!
