Color is an unremarkable dark brown, but holy cow the head! Three fingers + of dense foam that just isn't going away. I won't have the patience to wait this out, but after 5 minutes it's receded by maybe 10%. Loads of lacing as well. Aroma does a full 180. I think I might be smelling peanut butter, but whatever it is, I'm not digging it....at all. Taste unfortunately follows the nose. Stale peanut butter.

Had a small one of these when visiting a World of Beer last night - good size for this type of beer.
This tastes like a liquid version of an Almond Joy bar. Milk chocolate, coconut, almonds, pecans. Nice as a dessert beer.

Quarantine day thirty seven: worked, took a long walk, ate well, drinking a 16 oz. can. So, just like days one through thirty six. And presumably thirty eight through one hundred twenty six.
Black, with almost no visible carbonation or pop when opened. The smell is peanuts & massive sweetness. Doesn’t smell like War & Peace complexity.
Cowboy Cookie is certainly nourishing. Big, massive, sweet body could keep a body on its feet for a full day, it’s the lembas of beers. All of the advertised components are here, but it’s a mismatch, as the nuts account for roughly 90% of the taste, with spare bits of vanilla & cinnamon floating about in the sweet base liquid. Not to mention the alcohol, which is feels like more than advertised. Too rich to drink a full can.
My second can from the brewery & the pattern thus far is an inability to balance the ingredients; this could qualify as an imperial nut brown ale. Pretty good brew.
