Poured a black body with tan head that stuck around a minute. Aroma is basically vanillas although one could say they get some vanilla or chocolate (or even hint of bread). Smooth, fuller bodied, has a close-but-not cloying banana sweetness with a touch of bread to fill it out (give it a pudding texture?) as well as some notes of chocolate (something like chocolate anyway) and then finishes clean. Not bad at all but kind of one-note and there's only so much dessert (stout) one person can take.

Like a delicious banana pudding beer. Perhaps a little too sweet - though the sweetness tastes exactly like overripe bananas (yum!) - a full glass would take me awhile to drink.

Pour is a deep, murky brown; not quite black. Decent half finger of head that fades quickly to a ring around the glass.
Nose is light bananas, vanilla, roasted malt.
Taste is a hit of roasted malt, and chocolate upfront. Followed by a hint of banana, vanilla, and finally, pudding. Finish is, surprisingly, pretty close to banana pudding.
