Appearance - The beer was deep black with tan bubbles at the top.
Smell - The nose brought to mind chocolate licorice. It actually smelled thick.
Taste - This was a big boy. The profile was chocolate forward with notes of bourbon, rum, raisins, and cinnamon. It was a busy profile that was cake-like. The finish with the barrel notes and cinnamon was warm.
Mouthfeel - The thick body allowed the profile to linger.
Overall - This was a unique stout.

Pour is jet black with a big deep cinnamon head. Decent retention and lacing.
Nose is bourbon, oak, vanilla, mocha, chocolate, roasted malt.
Taste follows. Huge waves of bourbon, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, vanilla coat the palate. Doesn't get too sweet,
Mouthfeel is dense, creamy, chewy. Almost too heavy, even?
