Bircus is one of the most unique brewery places you will ever visit. It is a circus and a brewery in one (hence the name).
They have special events and performances all the time. One night I walked in (it is the closest brewery to my home) and a full fledged 15 piece jazz band was playing. The service is always friendly and open for a nice chat (when time allows). The beers are solid, with some highlights like the Pie Fighter Pilz.
One downside I want to mention, and this is the only reason why the quality is getting a 3 rating. The restrooms are in desperate need of remodeling, and I am wording this as nice as I can...
For some reason you see Bircus twice on BA. This listing, where you can rate and review the place. And the one where you can rate and review the beers: https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/51766/
Well, it is one and the same place. There is no separate tap/tasting room or anything like this. It is one building where it all happens.

The only taproom I've visited that had the owner not only pouring the beer, but giving tours and balancing chairs on his face. The circus is front and center here. The beer is okay, but the owner pours his heart and soul in to everything and that is really admirable. With a little improvement to the beer, you'd have a pretty nice spot, just over the bridge from Cincinnati.
