Restrained bitterness, unrestrained hop flavor and aroma. Bold and intense, yet delicate flavors of ripe oranges, citrus, and tropical fruit.
Brewed with English malt & yeast and massive whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra and a blend of Pacific Northwest Hops.

Pours shiny clear golden color, fluffy white head with excellent retention and soapy lacing throughout the time I drank it.
Aromas of citrus, green grapes malt and bread some floral notes
Taste is fruity I wouldn’t say tropical but more fruit salad like. Citrus up front and finishes bright and fruity, definitely well layered
Mouthfeel is fairly smooth lite to medium bodied not overly sweet for a fruity taste easy drinking
Overall it’s a well layered Mouthfeel beer, fairly crisp and refreshing

Timberyard Brewing Co. "Hindsight"
16 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 04/19/24. 10:45:50; sampled on 05/26/24
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy deep golden/amber colored body rests gently beneath a finger's width of white foam. The aroma is piney and citrusy. The taste reveals a grainy and lightly biscuity malt threaded through with citrus (orange, grapefruit), a little bit of peach and melon, some passionfruit, and a bit of pine, earthiness, and black pepper. It's interesting that I got more pine in the nose and less citrus. It's also interesting that this doesn't follow the common malt base of 2-row or Pilsner with oats and wheat. Not that I don't love that, but so many of those beers taste similar. This, I think, is pale malt with a little bit of something else thrown in to give it some life, maybe a light caramel or small amount of honey malt. The bitterness is restrained, as expected, and yet it still finishes mainly dry with a little bit of "hop burn" and the alcohol helping to dry it. Pine, earthiness, and black pepper lingers in the finish. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. The head could have held up better, and the lacing is OK but not great. In the end this is both a somewhat unique beer, and a very satisfying one. I'm about halfway through it at this point and I want to savor every remaining sip.

I first tasted this with a group tasting.
Good, but drinking a colder can alone changed my opinion of this beer.
Golden color with a 2F head.
Excellent aroma of citrus and grape.
The beer has a hoppy character, but the fruity taste is not dwarfed by it.
A good balance between the hoppy and the taste.
An excellent NEIPA.

On-tap 11/19/2021 at Jillian’s in Somerset, MA, served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and tropical fruits that are followed by a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style. This is a solid and well-balanced IPA to drink for a long time.

This is my favorite beer from Timberyard so far. There is a bit more dankness (in a good way) than I'd expect from something that lists Citra as the primary hop, but they do use a blend of other hops. A well balanced and very drinkable NEIPA. Looking forward to more good beers from Timberyard!

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about fifteen dollars. My first brew from these guys. Started off ok, but the carbonation becomes overwhelming.

Lovely aroma of citrus and mango. Looks like a juice bomb but drinks much more balanced. Pleasant backbone of piney bitterness and a clean finish. My first time trying Timberyard but definitely a winner. Well worth returning to!

Best beer you can buy in a store currently. Need to make my way to the brewery at some point for sure!
