A carefully crafted, traditional German lager, brewed with German malt & hops. Clear, bright, and golden colored, with a medium maltiness of sweet grain and low whispers of bread, lending to a soft roundness on the palate. Noble hops contribute a slightly balancing, elegant aroma and flavor. Take a break from the hop bombs to enjoy this classic, refreshing continental lager!

Canned 7/14/20
Pours a med to smaller fizzy head with fair retention, no real lacing though, mostly clear, med-gold to tan color
Nose has a fruity note, little apple-like pome fruit esters, little herbal tea hops, very light grainy malt
Taste is much better thankfully, grainy-sweet pilsner malt, straw and cereal grain, more herbal tea-like hops again, med to lighter bitterness, soft crisp lager, drier finish with med bitterness that ramps, as it warms the herbal tea comes out more, as well as some of the pome fruity esters as well, a tad astringent as well
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, soft crisp lager, little astringent, med-lighter foamy carb
Overall so sad, I want to like this brewery, but this was not even close to a real Helles, fruity esters off the chart esp on the nose, hops go overboard and even gets astringent, this was like a poorly done ester-heavy American lager

Like the commercial description, a decent drinkable Helles
