The original hazy, citrus flavor/aroma bomb - Belgian Witbier. With origins stretching back to the 14th century, the source of flavor and aromatics wasn’t hops, but oranges, fresh herbs, and spices. Instead of the traditional dried orange peel, we added fresh orange zest for a brighter, fresher citrus flavor and aroma. James hand zested 100lbs of oranges for this beer! Complex, yet crisp and refreshing, we think this is the perfect summertime quencher.

Being used to thick NEIPA's this looks a rather thin. YES, I know it's a witbier; totally different style. Coriander is the strongest scent on the nose; a little on the peppery side. You get the orange on the taste that you don't on the nose because it is overpowered by the coriander. And yes, it is definitely on the thin side.

Thanks to rudzud. Code 19198, can't be canned Aug 19, 2019 as that hasn't happened yet, possibly 198th day or 2019 which was July 17th, so more likely
Pours a foamy creamy frothy 1.5 finger head that fades at a medium pace, moderate retention and nice lacing, semi hazy medium gold color
Nose nice creamy doughy wheat malt, little vanilla wheat, and hint of honey, then nice spices and citrus, orange zest, light wit spices, coriander and grains of paradise, some light herbal chamomile tea as well
Taste brings more of the same, doughy creamy wheat out front, grainy malt with a little vanilla and honey from the wheat, creamy as well, into citrus, a little tart tangy citrus and orange zest, plenty of spices as well with more coriander and grains of paradise like, potpourri like spices, with some floral flowery chamomile tea, quite strong tea character and I can taste the dried chamomile flowers, good fruity esters and phenol spice notes blended with the additions, sticky sweet finish but attempts to dry, a little bitterness kicking in with more orange zest and spices lingering with the tea
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, effervescent higher carb, light tingly carbonic acid, but that stick finish is a little iffy
Overall quite good, very well done witbier with nice spices and citrus blended, and that chamomile tea really shoes through but doesn't overpower, all blended nicely into a delicious harmonious summer beverage. ONly real downfall was the sticky sweet finish. SO not sure if can difference between mine and rudzud, or he had his right after a much stronger beer, etc, but I quite enjoyed this.

Picked up a 4 pack of this at Ed Hyder's Mediterranean Market.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice just slightly hazy, more chill haze than witbier haze, with a two finger white head that fades slowly to leave no real lacing and a very thin blanket.
S - Aromas of nice creamy wheat, good coriander and spices. The citrus is surprisingly muted which is odd considering they used fresh oranges in this. The base wit is quite nice though.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Nice creamy wheat, almost a little toasty. The coriander and spices are quite pleasant. Light citrus zest and almost juicy oranges. Fairly straight forward.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated but the body is really, really light which makes this come across as quite watery/thin.
O - Overall this was a fairly average witbier. I liked the base beer but the orange notes could have been more assertive. The real downfall here I think was the mouthfeel though.
