Let's try a New England DIPA from one of my favorite Central MA breweries (that's not Tree House).
Pours a darker orange, hazy but slightly translucent. White head about 1 inch initially that settles into a thin ring and some bubbles on the surface. A bit of nice lacing left on the glass.
Smells like a fruit candy, with orange and pineapple notes. Different but quite pleasant.
Also tastes like fruit candy, almost like a orange / pineapple gummy candy. Very low or no bitterness.
Medium to medium-minus mouthfeel. Not much of the pillowy softness expected in a NEIPA.
I would like a bit of bitterness to balance out some of the perceived sweetness. However, still a pleasant, easy-drinking IPA.

Pours an opaque orange with a small head that ends up as lots of lacing.
Smells of floral and citrusy hops, Tastes of mild sweet slightly tart citrus and pineapple with a very mild bitter finish. The alcohol hides well.
Medium body and carbonation. Light clean mouthfeel.
Another recommended brew from a Massachusetts brewer that up until now I knew nothing about.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade!
Hazy dirty golden color with a thin off white head that slowly recedes. Earthy grassy orange and grapefruit with bits of sweet bread and light alcohol. Not bad.

Canned 8/20/20
Pours a fair foamy 1 finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, mostly clear touch of haze med gold color
Nose brings tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple, tangerine, a little sweet malt, candied pineapple, little orange marmalade
Taste brings more citrus and tropical fruit, lots of pineapple up front, candied pineapple, tangerine marmalade, a bit of sweetness, touch of smooth alcohol, sweet malt, drier but mild sticky finish, tons of candied pineapple lingering
Mouth is med to fuller bod, a little soft creamy, light warming alochol, a touch juicy
Overall not bad, lots of candied alcohol, while it didn't have the super juicy soft feel of typical NEIPA, but not necessarily a bad thing as there's no chalky mineral thing, and pithy or papery characters, this was more like NEIPA crossed with old school IPA but without the bitterness
