Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – the beer pours a deep amber-brown color with a small head of fizzy tan foam. The head fades fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a roasted and toasted pumpkin smell mixed with a strong showing of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Along with these smells comes big notes of brown sugar and toffee as well as some toasted bread and a bit of vanilla and coffee.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice toasted bready malt flavor paired with the roasted pumpkin that was in the nose. Right from the start there is a nice showing of the spices that were in the nose, with a good deal of nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon. At the same time there is a decent showing of sweet, with a blend of molasses and brown sugar flavors. As the taste advances the roast fades a touch, all while the sweet gets a bit stronger. Toward the end of the taste there is a bit of earthiness and nut that join in, producing a nice toasted and roasted pumpkin spice flavor to linger.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium-thick with a lower carbonation level.
Overall – A rather nice dark roasty pumpkin brew. Would buy this again.

I don't normally like pumpkin beers, but I thought this one was really good. It pours a dark brown with a reddish tinge if back lit. A nice frothy head that dwindles slowly. The base beer is a brown ale in essence, but the spices are not over done or over powering. I really enjoyed this one and would recommend it.

Look – Sits pitch black in the glass and has muddy brown edges when held to the light. The pour provided two fingers of off-white head.
Aroma – A cinnamon and brown sugar nuke! Touches of nutmeg and vanilla with the pumpkins coming in with a muted presence.
Taste – The taste takes a step back from the aroma. Cinnamon is still here, but it is being upstaged by nutmeg. The brown sugar from the base brown ale is likewise is a ghost of its former self and I am getting an overwhelming malty note. No real pumpkin flavor to speak of thought I am detecting some dark fruits which adds a small layer of complexity.
Mouthfeel – Actually coming in a little thin on the body, but not watered-down enough to eel less than its 6% abv.
Overall – On the taste this retreated back to being a standard Brown Ale, but it has just enough spices to keep things interesting.
