Our sour series is naturally soured with a blend of wild and cultured lactobacillus and fermented with real fruit. Brewed with lime zest, fresh mint and a touch of sea salt.

Any beer with mint as an adjunct is pretty rare, which is why it’s super weird to me that I have 3 different mint adjuncted beers in the fridge currently. 2 Stouts and this. A mojito-inspired Weisse actually sounds really good, so I’m excited to see if this actually works
Pours a cloudy dark gold with a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
From the first whiff, this doesn’t seem to be very tart which is a bit of a letdown. I’m picking up on aromas of lime juice, wheat bread, coriander, and light mint
It’s a bit more tart in taste, but still not quite to the level I’d like. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart lime juice, crackery malt, sea salt, mint, and lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of lime juice, coriander, vanilla wafer, wheat bread, and light mint
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a zippy and refreshing beer. Finishes neutral and a bit sweet
Overall this is enjoyable, but quite lackluster. It could’ve been more tart and expressive. Oh well

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
