A tribute to the welcomed change in weather. We use an obnoxious amount of Galaxy and Michigan Copper hops to provide a seductive tropical fruit aroma. It is backed up by a super creamy mouthfeel with a slight sweetness.

cool that these guys are doing some cans now, this is another hazy ipa, which definitely appears to be their thing, this one was not my favorite among them though, really hazy and thick, with some of its alcohol showing through too. michigan copper hops are new to me, but they seem to overwhelm the best (and certainly most delicate) parts of the galaxy, which isnt quite unrecognizable here, but its not its usual self, i think the two could be reversed in proportion for a more agreeable beer, but i still like this, its just not the one of theirs i would pick to drink again if i had to choose. super milky looking from the can but without visible particulate, a white cream head fades slowly, and there is a lot of viscosity here. aroma and flavor mirror one another, with lime leaf, tangerine, coconut, and pine, some bitterness for what it is, an oily feel and lots of pale cereal malt, raw wheat it seems in high heaps, and a crackery almost pils note as well, nice to keep it dry, but there is a lot of grain here. the thing is, the beer doesnt seem to benefit from its enormity. like, clean it up some, drop the grain and alcohol down, and draw back a little of the hop bite and this would be awesome. its just too unrefined, even sloppy for me, even though i like the softness in feel, its pillowy and its dry. the hop profile is unique too, but im not sure i like michigan copper better than galaxy, it will take some other beers to flesh out that theory, but they do work together reasonably well here. still tasty, but not the best hazy these guys are making right now. they have set the bar pretty high, so i feel okay saying this one isnt their best work from an objective quality standpoint.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
