Can: Poured a black color stout with a large brown foamy head with limited retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes with some black chocolate notes. Taste is a mix of chocolate malt notes with light roasted flavors with some floral coffee notes and light acidic notes. Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. OK but lacking body and coffee is slightly too acidic.

The pour is jet black with a tan & frothy head of foam. On the taste, I'm getting coffee, dark chocolate, bourbon barrel oak, maple syrup, rich roasted malt, along with some hints of prune, vanilla, & tobacco char. Moreover, the 9% abv is well hidden. Cheers! A-

Recent can from Wegmans. Maple smoothness comes on right away, a little coffee that balances. Mot too too sweet. A touch of white in head. Both are in the scent.

Purchased 2 cans on Tavour. First can smelled and tasted like bad beer, poured it down the drain; the second can was also skunked. I normally enjoy stouts, but this was not even drinkable.

Pours a deep brown. Aroma is a wonderful combination of chocolate, maple, coffee with hints of wood. Taste follows nose. Great balance of chocolate, maple, coffee with hints caramel and maltiness. Mouthfeel is medium/full. Really tasty stout.

Appearance - murky brown colored body, hardly any head at all
Smell - chocolate, maple, coffee
Taste - maple, chocolate, caramel
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, low level of carbonation, sweetness upfront from the chocolate and maple
Overall - decent stout that doesn't drink like it's ABV, I would like this to have more body, but overall a nice beer that is worth a shot.
Price Point - $5.99/16 oz can

Lovely deep rich dark chocolate brown bordering on black with a light dusting of dark khaki bubbles.
Nose is immediately nice coffee with a bit of smoothing sweet side that presents a really soothing lovely bouquet. There's a faint woodiness involved as well, but almost more as if it acts to soften the sharp edges of the other characters. I could see some bakers chocolate powder and a bit of roast as well.
The flavour starts off in a different direction going very high and very sweet right out of the gate. It's sweeter than I prefer, but it's appreciably maple (with a touch of vanilla), which is up my alley, and it manages to be highly sweet without being cloying. It's more an introduction and then a foil to the bitter coffee and toasty malts. There's an almost creaminess, without any accompanying thickness that works into it all as well, and is probably a different manifestation of what I called a woody note on the nose.
Lively carbonation over a glossy body that has some oily character, but the carbonation is the most applicable texture element.
So, I'm not generally into beers with a lot of sweet in their flavour. And this has a fair amount of sweet in it. But it works well with the broader profile and comes together to create an enjoyable drinking experience.

Can into pint glass. Pours a dark cola color, with essentially no head. Initial impression is molasses, maple, roasted coffee, and milk chocolate. Mouthfeel is smooth and silky; alcohol is pretty well hidden. Finish fades to a maple syrup sweetness, but without being cloying. I'm actually surprised that this doesn't taste boozier. The can was undated, so maybe it sat around or a while.

Deep copper with a 1" tan head, which fades to a wisp. Moderate lacing.
Aroma: molasses hits you straight off. Also, coffee, chocolate, maple.
Taste is espresso, molasses, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, maple, roast malt.
Full body, light carbonation. Semisweet, oily finish.
A very good stout across the board,
