Heavy tropic fruit nose filled with berries and citrus. Soft pillowy mouthfeel with a slight bitterness that is blanketed by a touch of malt sweetness.

Damn nice double. Bitter but a bit sweet on the back end. Grabs the tongue. Nice finish. Smell is near perfect.

From a can , dated 2/19/19, into a tulip.
Moderately hazy orange-gold , with substantial fine white head, that eventually leavesa 1/8" ring. Looks like fresh-squeezed tangerine juice, with a beer head.
Popping the top of the can immediately realeases a grapefruit aroma. Pouring into the glass &... an even stronger aroma of red grapefrut juice. I.e. a little bit sweet, moreso than is usual. It's not grapefruit pith smell. Also hints of tangerine, floral (hops), honey (malt), and slight boozy aroma.
Taste is tangerine, pine, grapefruit, apricot, grapefruit pith , and finishes with some mead-like sweetness. Noticeable pine-bitterness throughout.
Feel is medium, moderately creamy but with sharp carbonation tingle popping up here and there. Fine carbonation, that leaves a lingering tingle after finish. Leaves a light syrupy coating for a bit. That's the only hint that is 8.1%. Otherwise I would have thought that it was considerably lower. (5.5-6%?) .
Overall, another very good one from Beer Tree. Dangerously easy-drinking. If you mixed a honey-infused DIPA with a juicy NEIPA, this is what you would get. A pleasure, & highly recommended. I.e., DON'T follow the instructions on the can. ;)
