Copenhagen 21/10 2023. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can with strange golden figures. A pair of glasses, a bearded head and a row of teeth.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a mid-sized, dense white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of fluffy foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fermented odor of overripe Stone fruit. Mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Mango and peach. Fermented fruit. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet, fermented DIPA with a light bitter touch.

Poured from 16oz can into an IPA glass. Canned 12/21/23.
Appearance: nice medium orange hue with a thin finger of ivory foam and a nice lace on the glass as the foam dissipates.
Smell: highly juicy and tropical with passionfruit, guava, and mango in the mix. There might even be a hint of peach in there — very nice indeed.
Taste: moderately sweet with more of that tropical character from the aroma. A little bit of acidity or something would be nice to cut the total tropical sweetness but it’s still a really nice hazy.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a solid hazy on the tropical side of the spectrum. Great stuff.

16oz can from Tavour. Beer Tree quickly moving up my list of great Hazy IPA Brewers. Hazy orange golden pour, thin white foamy head slowly recedes leaving streaky lacing all around the glass. Heady aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste begins with a small citrus zest bite before sinking into a dense, creamy tropical fruit salad with notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Juicy to a fault. I' m a cat daddy and I fully endorse this brew!

A: The beer is rather hazy pale yellow in color along with some hints of orange hues. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and some thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with hints of mango and spices.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of melon with additional notes of stone fruit. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the smell and taste of this IPA to be rather interesting and unique.

we had a lot of hazy ipa types from these guys when we were there, and this one, head and shoulders for me, was above the rest of them. its done with southern passion hops, which i am only just starting to be amazed by, what a unique varietal, and they have showcased it nicely here, along with more familiar mosaic in the mix. the beer is a light orange shade, deeper in color from the malt than many of their others, but its not malty, whats here from the grain is earthy and round, and its needed for balance at this strength. the hops drip with fresh cannabis, ripe cantaloupe, mango, and passion fruit, and there is a sweet orange layer running through it, insanely fresh, and with a very late climax of flavor, right on the swallow it maxes out, and the best parts of the hop profile are left on the tongue after each sip. its not overly complex, but these hops are definitely unique, nice with the pineapple of the mosaic backing them up too. fuller bodied but this is soft like their other good ones, round and expansive and only a little weighty. an impressive offering and a nice way to feature a cool hop varietal, well hidden high abv too. the beer highlight of our recent visit to the brewery for me!
