Very large head which leave a beautiful web lace as it recedes and after each sip. Impressive. Cloudy, whitish, light gold color.
The smell is interesting in that there are two distinct smells that I've never experienced together before: Fruity and swampy, damp earthy aromas. I get lemongrass and oddly, a dirty hot dog water notes. Not quite attractive but it doesn't have me push it away either.
The taste starts slightly sweet but completely dries out by the time of the swallow, almost finishes like cardboard. I don't get any fruitiness that I would expect. The body is full with a diminished carbonation level. The bitterness is quite muted for the style. Unusual for the style. Short aftertaste.
On the can, this is described as a "double New England style IPA", but I think this misses the mark. That said, it's a decent if strange, beer.

Orange color and light bodied hazy IPA. Rich but generic sweet fruit flavor with pleasant ABV. Mildly stinky after taste brings down the whole package. Good beer.

Pours a hazy pale orange with an off white head.
Pine and floral notes backed by earthy wood undertones.
Taste follows nose. It is subtle and complex and definitely reminiscent of the forest.

Canned on 11/19/21; consumed on 12/21/21 - International Rush Day.
A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is slightly hazy, dark golden with a white head on top. Some lacing left behind.
S: Very nice nose - soft ripe peaches, sweet oranges, some bready malt.
T: Follows the nose, with sweet peaches, oranges, mango and ripe melon. Really tasty, albeit on the sweet side in a big way, and the nearly-8% ABV isn't really noticed.
M: Good juicy feel, call it medium in heft. Faint chalkiness on the finish.
O: Solid - maybe a little too sweet overall for me, but it's tasty and drinks far too easy for its strength.

Canned 11/27/20. Let warm to 45-50F.
Moderately hazy golden orange , with just over 1finger of creamy off-white head. 1/2" wavy sheet of lacing all around. Looks like fresh-squeezed tangerine juice , minus the pulp, plus a head.
Smell is peach, pineapple juice, sweet(ish) jammy orange, mango with a slight bit of creaminess (though no lactose actually in it) , and fresh bready malt aroma. As the head dissipates , the peach aroma shifts to that of the pit, rather than the previous sweet, very ripe fruit. This element is also apparent, more strongly, from the open can.
Taste is candied mango & pineapple, orange rind , and mild unripe peach. Moderate drying bitterness, plus a hint of lime zest, comes in late, and lingers awhile. Less sweet than the aroma, but just a bit more so than Beer Tree's usual fare. Check that... maybe not so much "more sweet" , as "less bitter", so that the sweet elements are more apparent?
Feel is medium , and leaves a slight syrupy coating on the tongue. Slight internal warming , mostly in the face, but none on the palate. Other than that, the abv is not noticeable. Initially lightly creamy, some very, very, very fine carbonation bite comes in on the latter 1/3 .
Overall, another good one from Beer Tree. Really smooth, & dangerously easy-drinking. Don't hesitate to try it, if you like juicy NEIPAs.
