This lactose-free “Milkshake IPA” looks and tastes like the hazy juice slowly dripping off of a melting creamsicle on a hot summer day. The pillowy soft mouthfeel gives this beer a ridiculously smooth finish. DDH with Galaxy and Citra.

Canned 1/14/19 Let warm to 45F +/-
Pours opaque medium yellow, with some pinkish-gray tint. Surprisingly (for 10% abv) substantial very fine creamy white head, that leaves 1/2" of lacing.
Smells of white grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, and cream, as if it had lactose. (It doesn't.)
Taste is mainly , as described, pineapple & cream . :O ;) There is some grapefruit pith and peach pit bitterness that keeps it from being too sweet. Very slight astringency on the finish. Surprisingly little for a 5-day-old 10% beer. I'd expect that & the peach pit flavor will fade in time. Will revisit in 3 weeks or so.
Feel is moderately creamy, with very very fine carbonation burn throughout, that lingers past finish. Slight astringency from hop/alcohol burn, at the back of the throat, at & after finish . I expect that will fade in a few weeks.
Overall, another fantastic effort from Beer Tree. That it is still a little green detracts very slightly, but it is still a joy to imbibe. I'll revisit in 3 weeks or so.
