Poured from a can dated 08/28/2025 into the test glass.
A - Dark brown bordering on black in color, a thin mocha cap slowly dissipates to its ring self.
S - Blueberry up front, with some stout threads including. milk chocolate, espresso, a bit of fudge
T - Milk Chocolate, with of course bluberry, maple, some roast malts, this is a close to pastry as I will get. This configuration works quite well
M - Medium in body, slick on the palate, the sweet side wraps the tongue and never lets go. The finish is quick and dry.
O - A Good to very good stout, the base stout is something I will seek out, This blueberry model is well executed and a pleasure to sip on

The pour is matte black with a tan & frothy head of foam. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, maple syrup, along with hints of dark chocolate, & caramel. Moreover, the 9% abv is well hidden. All in all, this is a well made beer but it's a tad too sweet for my palate. Cheers! B

Morning Timber - Blueberry pours a dark brown with a small, tan head. The aroma is filled with sweet maple coffee and blueberries. The flavor is sweeter, creamy maple coffee, with some blueberries. Flat. Overall, it was tasty but had a bad feel.

This beer just has "it". It's got New England blueberries, maple syrup and camping by a fire all over it. Hits every note I wanted it to without realizing what I was getting into. For breakfast, after dinner or everything in between, Morning Timber (blueberry) is a phenomenal beer for the style.

Pours golden brown with thin foam. Aroma is quite nice, with blueberry and that kind of gritty, breakfast pancake with all natural maple syrup smell. Taste is quite sweet, with blueberry present and a medium bodied brew. This goes down smooth. A perfect compliment to breakfast.

Canned 3/3/21 , so 6 days old. Let sit out ~30min, before open.

Dark mahogany-brown, with a little light leaking through the edges. 1 1/2 fingers of tan head.

Smell is cocoa, a roasty-nutty aroma (pecan+hazelnut?) , brownie batter, and slight blueberry, that is reminiscent of blueberries in muffins or pancakes.

Taste is chocolate, roasty maple, a hint of dried blueberry, and finishing with slight tang and light bitterness.

Feel is heavy-side-of-medium, moderately slick, with light, very, very fine carbonation bite, that gives a drying finish. No hint of the high abv whatsoever, other than slight mental fog. ;)

Overall, pretty good, and dangerously easy-drinking. I don't normally go for fruit in beers, except for sour styles, but this is enjoyable. A light touch with the blueberry, that doesn't come across as cloyingly sweet or artificial . Nice non-BA stout.

these guys make a nice stout, ive had several of them, but this is far and away the best of them in my experience, thanks to my brother for sending me a can. its done with coffee, maple syrup, and blueberries, a dreamy combination and a wonderful proportioning of these distinctive flavors throughout the beer, not too much or too little of any one element, great harmony between them, really well refined brew, maybe a touch sweeter overall than i want to drink a lot of, but its maple syrup after all, delicious! the beer is pretty dense from the can, near black with a satin sheen and relatively viscous, giving rise to just under an inch of lighter brown head, soapy and frothy with okay retention. aroma here is coffee first, some dark roasted grain, maybe a hint of smoke, then blueberry preserves and the earthy maple sweetness, heavy morning vibes for me, everything seems natural too, no sign of the alcohol here really at all either, even as the temperature comes up. tons of maple through the taste, real and high quality to me, gorgeous with the coffee, they could have stopped there and been successful with this, but they went a step further, and just a light blueberry tang and sweet comes on right on the swallow, really giving this the breakfast vibe and popping it off to the next level. notes of good espresso, dark chocolate, and unlit cigar in here to me, some mellow jammy character to the blueberries but they are rightly dosed, and this is super cohesive, flavorful, yet drinkable on the whole. really special stuff, a great recipe and professional execution. one of their best beers to date!
