Canned 6/23/2020 "Plot Your Course"
Hazy medium yellow, with 2.5 fingers of white head, that leaves a few spots of lacing.
Smell is pineapple, charentais melon, some vague citrus, and something slightly spicy/fruity. Goji? (Tomato juice + hot pepper pungency, minus the heat, is similar to fresh-picked goji. This is closer to fresh goji, than altered tomato juice.) There is a bit of creaminess to it. Might have lactose, but not sure.
Taste is bitter orange, but slightly sweeter, not-quite-ripe peach, grapefruit, dried pineapple, a bit of musk melon rind (melon+ slight bitterness) and a hint of lime zest. Moderate bitterness, that (as is BTBC's wont) keeps it from being too sweet.
Feel is smooth, lightly creamy, with some very fine carbonation bite/burn(alcohol/hops too?) near finish and beyond.
Overall, another very enjoyable tropical fruit NEIPA from Beer Tree. Guessing that it might improve slightly with age , so will TRY to hang on to one for another 3-4 weeks, to test that theory. ;)
