Quality beer from Beer Tree. I had another BIB series from Finback and this is just as good. It is not too sweet. It has notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and caramel. It is 10 percent ABV but very drinkable! I appreciate the social justice movement behind this beer and would drink it readily even if it wasn’t for a great cause! Skol!

16oz can from Bottle Rocket. Black pour, fizzy brown head, beige ring remains. Aroma is Mexican chocolate, savory notes. Taste brings the savory spice to the foreground, dark, bitter chocolate in support, cinnamon, sweet, grapefruit. A bit of alcohol heat rises in the back. Nicely done.
