Grabbed a can at Outlet Liquors a month or two ago. Kept frogged but decided it was time for this big boy.
Can’t compare of course but…SO glad I did.
Poured @ 45 degrees.
This was such an excellent brew.
Poured a straw gold hazy/ very slightly murky body with a white creamy small bead head… 10%???
Head faded (of course…10% right?) …but left a really nice lingering cover of foam, rich white halo and lots of lacing. Again …10%??
Yep…and clearly beautifully crafted brewing.
Nose was rich in malt and hop bil. Rich in melon, stone fruit, hints of dank. Attractive.
Taste…even better. I’m not very familiar with some members of the hop bill. But wow…just Wow. Equanot and Mosaic lead the bill… then Michigan Copper and Cryo balance it out.
Just delicious! A “for real” ultra juicy fruit driven TIPA… with just the small amount of dank to brighten your taste buds.
The body is SILK! Not heavy… just so smooth with enough soft carbonation to keep it refreshing.
Overall IMO … it is just a great IPA… but as a TIPA it’s a real stand out!
I’ve appreciated Beer Tree, and even stopped by once. But I’m starting to think I may need to watch them like some of the big names in this style. Great job!
