A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is slightly hazy golden, with a half-finger of white head that doesn't last long.

S: Sweet - like rock candy. Sweeter tropical fruit - mango, papaya, ripe pineapple. Also sweet, ripe peaches.

T: Good balance between sweet (the beginning) and bitter (the end). Sweeter tropical fruits: mango, papaya, passionfruit. Ripe peaches noted, as with the nose. Then there's a slightly bitter bite that kicks in at the back end. Hint of limes.

M: Appropriate for a DIPA - slightly syrupy, modest carbonation.

O: Good stuff. I'm liking this beer. Borders on being too sweet, but I think it doesn't quite get there. YMMV.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left a thin patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of peach and passion fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of pineapple along with notes of peach and hints of passion fruit. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate
O: This NEIPA is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of tropical hops. It is quite drinkable considering its strength and masks any traces of alcohol from the taste.

Canned 2/23/21. Let sit out 120 minutes or so, before opening.

Hazy jewel-tone orange, with substantial 2+finger head, that subsides to a thick ring , & 1"+ tall sheets of lacinng. Fairly impressive head, given the abv.

Smell is peach, dried pineapple , a vague citrus mix, and a little mango & white grape. Slight fresh bread aroma. A bit of passion fruit and acerola/sumac from the open can. Good smell , just a bit lighter than what is promised.

Taste is white grape, peach, passion fruit, candied lemon, (sweetened) blood orange+grapefruit, pineapple, and some light biscuity malt, with a slightly drying light-moderate bitterness, that lingers awhile past finish. There is a faint herbal/pine/earthy element (Simcoe?) that plays a faint rythm underneath all that.

Feel is (surprisingly)light-medium, that leaves the tongue with a barely-there syrupy coating. Moderate, soft, creamy carbonation . Slightly drying finish, that leaves the front quarter of the tongue feeling stripped, underneath the slick syrupy top coat. Despite the young age, no hop burn, or intimations of the abv.

Overall , a thoroughly enjoyable NEIIPA . I've been giving myself a break from the hazy ones lately, so maybe that's a part of it , but guessing I could drink this endlessly (except for the 8%abv. ;) ) Sometimes thinking too much can detract from the experience , but in this case , analyzing each element made me appreciate it even more. If anything, I wish it had a touch more bitterness, but that's nitpicking, & who knows if that would actually be better? Wonderful as-is. Give it a try! :)

Canned 11/03/20, tasted 12/01/20. Yum! Many of the Beer Tree brews I've tried so far have toed the edge of being too sweet. This one was nice because it also had a nice dose of bitterness to balance out that sweetness. Really a yummy beer, with a great creamy mouthfeel, and a nice hazy orange appearance. Go get some!
