A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a finger high frothy bright white head that left thick lacing down the sides of the glass, a narrow collar around the edge, and a large patch of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus, herbs, and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of citrus - tangerine stands out in particular - and stone fruit with notes of herbs, the latter of which are only noticeable in the finish. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has the hop aromas and flavors that you would expect from an IPA with the drinkability of an APA.

Canned 11/25/20, tasted 12/25/20. I've been consistently impressed by Beer Tree - this one was good, but not near their best. A little bit lighter all around, in appearance, aroma, taste, and mouthfeel, than many of their brews. Their beers are often on the sweeter side, but this one comes back towards the bitter end of the spectrum, but still has enough sweetness to balance it out. Very smooth, with a nice mouthfeel, although could have been a touch richer. Not one I'd grab again if there were other Beer Tree IPAs and DIPAs available.

Canned 11/25/20
Hazy medium yellow, with one finger of creamy white head. Looks like pineapple juice with a head.
Smell is fresh grapefruit, orange, pineapple, papaya, peach, slight galia melon, and a little fresh bready malt aroma.
Taste is grapefruit rind, Valencia orange, light slightly unripe peach, and a hint of green onion and dried lemon rind on the finish. Moderate, lingering bitterness. It's less sweet, & more bitter, than the aroma.
Feel is light-medium, with moderate, very, very fine sharp carbonation throughout. There is some slight astringency at the back of the throat, as if it were just canned, rather than a month old. Permanent feature, or still green? ....???
Overall , an enjoyable NEIPA, slightly to the bitter side of the spectrum. Though maybe a half-notch below its bigger brethren, it's nice to have a lower-octane version. Close enough. :) Probably would be especially good on a hot summer day.
[Edit] Now that it's warming up, it reminds me of a slightly simpler version of Parallel Worlds.
