On tap at Flaherty’s Three Flags Inn in Macedon, NY.

This one pours a light golden yellow-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells grassy and floral, and a little bit malty.

There’s not a ton to this one, it’s decent, with no outward flaws, I just want a bit more crispness and a snappier hop character.

This is light bodied, crisp and clean, with a good drinkability.

This is fairly average – enjoyable enough, but ultimately forgettable.

Canned 01/07/21

Clear gold with 2.5 fingers of white head, that leaves a 1/4" ring, thin surface sheet, and some thin, spotty lacing. A good looking beer!

Smell is fresh biscuits, with a bit of fruity/floral hop aroma.

Taste is bread crust, with a touch of honey, a bit of floral+herbal hops, and a little coriander-like spiciness. Light drying bitterness.

Feel is light, but not watery, initially smooth followed by pleasant very fine carbonation bite. There is an unusual mild burn sensation at the back of the throat , after finish. (Original rating : 3.5)

Overall, pretty good pils. That burn at the back of the throat does detract from it a little. Too young? I'll have to save one or two, and revisit as it ages. (Original rating : 4)

Edit : 12 days later(1/24/20), it IS better , & I've upped the ratings to reflect that.
