Copenhagen 17/10 2023. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. A very psychedelic can with waves in yellow, pink and blue.

Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fermented odor of overripe Stone fruits mingling with subtle citrus fruits. Mango and peach. Whiff of alcohol. Lime and lemon.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft and lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is a bit thin and semi-dry. Fine NEIPA with a boozy touch. I could mistake it for a DIPA.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy lightish-yellow with just a hint of white head on top.

S: Nice nose of tropical fruit - think pineapple - and stone fruits - leaning more towards the bitter side of things, like under-ripe apricot or plums.

T: Surprisingly sweeter than expected. Tropical fruit (pineapple, ripe melon), white grapes, ripe peaches. Hint of limes. Touch of bitterness on the back end is quickly subsumed by sweeter flavors.

M: Slightly slick/oily, but otherwise juicy. Call it medium in heft.

O: Good stuff.
