A mighty warrior of a brew . . . you’re going to want to grab your armor for this one. Brewed in collaboration with Upstate Brewing, Kveiking Funeral is a hazy IPA that clocks in at 11.3% ABV and exudes abundant, sweet stone fruit aromas. Sweet nectarous honey notes flutter over your palate pairing up with bright melon and a citrus finish. Specially conditioned on honey and brewed with Ebbegarden Kveik yeast.

Canned 02/03/2023 . Let sit out for 15 minutes before opening.
Slightly hazy gold, with 1+fingers of quickly-dissipating head.
Smell is a vague fruity mix , a bit of biscuity malt, and a bit of boozy, dank pine solvent (in a good way ;) ).
Taste is candied orange rind, slight pineapple, slight peach/apricot, that piney element in the aroma, and a brief hint of grapefruit. Light bitterness. Moderate sweetness, balanced by light bitterness . There's much less of the doughy/funky element than in other kveik beers I've had . Barely there, but still noticeable. Maybe a touch of honey, though too fleeting to positively ID it.
Feel is medium, smooth, and lightly sticky. Light, very, very fine carbonation tingle, that burns ever so slightly at the end. Slight drying sensation after finish. No noticeable signs of the high abv.
Overall, it's OK. Growing on me as I go along. Got one more, that I'm going to let sit for a month or so, to see if it's better.
As I've suggested before, I don't see any appreciable improvement over a DIPA, by making this a triple, unless you're seeking more foggin' of the noggin'. ;) Enjoyable as far as it goes, but no more than many simpler, lower abv, less-expensive brews. YMMV
