Canned on 9-19-23, consumed on 10-7-23, making this one about 18 days old.
A: Poured into a Fiden's tulip. Body is very hazy, light golden/pale-ish yellow with a near-2-finger fluffy white head on top, which recedes to leave good splotchy lacing.
S: Real nice nose jumps out of the glass: ripe oranges and candied orange peel, some honey and generic citrus.
T: First impression is that it's a little bit thin in the feel, which I think detracts from the taste and overall impression, but as for the taste itself . . . I get modest orange peel and brown-sugar-drizzled ripe oranges over doughy malt. Finishes with some raw hoppy bitterness, but that's generally subsumed by the sweeter, hoppy flavors - especially after a few sips when the sweetness coats the mouth. Still, there's a decent bitterness at the finish; it just doesn't last long.
M: As noted above, a bit thin in feel. Smooth, probably because the carbonation is very modest - feels almost flat.
O: If they could get the heft/body better, this would be a really good beer. The nose is great, taste is solid - it just needs more oomph in the body. An easy drinker. As it is, it's a good beer, just not a great beer.
