Cryo Nebula, our latest NEIPA dry-hopped with Citra Cryo, Mosaic Cryo, and Simcoe Cryo hops. w/ Cosmic Punch yeast.
This creates a celestial explosion of citrus, tropical fruit, and piney aromas, balanced by a velvety smooth mouthfeel and a restrained bitterness.

No discernible canning date, but social media posts indicate that it is < a week old.

Hazy bright yellow, with one finger of long-lasting creamy white head. Looks like fresh-squeezed lemonade, minus the pulp.

Smell is fresh grapefruit rind, slight bitter almond/peach pit, some lemon, kiwi, mango, sort of a custardy papaya+pawpaw scent, and light crackery malt. Overall, everything says :"Fresh!".

Taste is ... oh...wow.. not the usual citrus-based mix that is normal, & that the aroma would indicate. The custardy papaya+pawpaw element is foremost. There is the light, fresh, yellow grapefruit element, but it is a side note. There's also some of the kiwi, that's present in the aroma, and also a fruit punch/Juicy Fruit Gum note. (From the yeast?) . Very slight bitter herbal flavor at finish , and lingering in the aftertaste. That combination gives a net effect of a bit of dankness at finish, especially as it warms up. Light bitterness overall.

Feel is medium, juicy, & slickly smooth til about 2/3 of the way through. Then some light-medium, very, very fin tingle & bite come in, slightly drying it out.

Overall, nicely done. It starts out seeming to be another typical (albeit good) juicy NEIPA, but steps off the path just far enough to standout, without losing sight of that (justifiably successful ) route. Not entirely enthusiastic about that Juicy Fruit Gum note, but overall, it works. All-in-all, a very enjoyable brew.
