Murky red amber body leaning opaque with a large tan head and sporadic lacing. Smells of citrus hops and mild earthy toast dotting the toffee malts. Taste add somewhat roasty yeast, minor grain to the background. Feel is not clean as all, but sneaky smooth after the initial yeast and barley textures, lightweight and goes down easy

Canned 2/20/25.
Clear reddish-amber, with one finger of tan head.
Smell is light caramel and toffee, with a slight fruity tang, and some biscuity malt aroma .
Taste is light caramel, the vague dried stone fruit(re-hydrated) element that's in the aroma, but more prominent than in the aroma, a slight root-beer-like flavor, but more woody and vinous than root beer, some spiciness, and a hint of herbal bitterness. Light bitterness. Almost as if a doppelbock and an O-fest had a baby.
Feel is smooth and light, with moderate , very, very fine carbonation tingle. There is a lightly-slick feeling after finish, that is followed by a drying sensation.
Overall, good, and easy-drinking. Haven't had many in this style, so not much to compare with, but it seems on the dry side of the spectrum.
