16oz can from the brewery.
1 1/2" head that sits steady like a rock on a dark orange, opaque, hazy NEIPA. Fresh, sticky lace abounds.
Fresh orange peels, tangerine, lemons, lime...creamy malt base, creamsicle-like aroma.
Orange, muted lemon, papaya, guava, none overly ripe and thank goodness this lacks the raw yeasty edge I tend to get in many NEIPA's. Solid hop flavors from start to finish.
Full body, low to medium carbonation. Full of citrus and some tropical fruit flavors with super low bitterness. Medium length finish...not sweet or dry in the finish. Good balance.
Very Good, enjoyed everything I've tried from DCBC so far.
Tried again on 5-29-20, confirming Very Good rating.
Lots of melon stands out in a really good way this time around.
