16oz draft at the brewery, served in a pint glass.
1/2" beige head falls to a solid cap, amber/copper color with good clarity. Light lacing.
Chocolate malt, nutty, earthy with a light fruity character. No peat/smokiness perceptible. Heavily hopped, weedy/grassy aggressive hop aroma and flavor.
Full body and creamy mouthfeel...persistent weedy/grassy hop in the long off-dry finish.
Hopped up Scotch Ale, very Amber Ale like.
Good to very good.
