16oz canned 4/10/20. Opened 4/17/20.
3 finger beige head, great retention. Mahogany and a beautiful amber when held against the light. Clear and clean. Lots of visible carbonation flowing topside. Light lacing but it's more an effect of the particular glass I'm using than the beer I've noticed.
Sweet malty aroma, dark fruit (cherry), light molasses.
Brown or rye bread, brown sugar sweetness, feed store grain.
Full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Some warming but not boozy at any point. A touch thin and flat on the finish but only off-dry in the end despite the sweetness is a plus. Big beer, liquid bread - easily skip a meal after one of these.
Good.
