12oz canned 7/28/20, opened 1/23/21.
Barrel aged brown ale.
1 finger beige head with short retention falls to a sparse head and ring.
Dark brown, clean with an amber glow. No lacing.
Nutty, pecan shell, walnut, almost sherry like character to start.
Pecan pie, wood, toffee, caramel, sweet pie filling.
Medium body and carbonation. Woody, nutty, and lingering off-dry finish.
Very good.
