Probably my all-time favorite IPA and that's saying something, given that I've tried a lot of different IPAs. The first time I had it was in a tavern, where I went to see a friend's band perform. Ordered it on a whim. Didn't realize it was 8.2 ABV. I should not have driven home that night, as I'd consumed two of them and it was too much. Got home safely, though, thank God. This really is a wonderful IPA with an aromatic, flowery smell and taste that delights the senses. It's an Imperial (double IPA) with a rich body and medium amber, slightly hazy tint, but high enough of an ABV that the alcohol slightly shines through. World class, in my opinion. I can't imagine how a beer like this one could possibly be improved upon.

Delicious! There are plenty of great juicy IPAs out there, but this is a standout. Starting with a great nose, this one provides big, juicy citrus with pithy bitterness to balance it out.
