We brewed this beer in an effort to make a pumpkin beer that wasn’t like the typical pumpkin beer. With a measured hand, we added cinnamon, clove, ginger, vanilla and other spices that are reminiscent of autumn. It’s rich and creamy like a fall dessert so grab a pour and take a big swig of this chocolate pumpkinda pie in a glass.

Poured from a pint can purchased at the brewery into a chalice. Two fingered caramel colored head with good lacing. THe body of the beer is almost black, with some fizz. Definitely the whiff of cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose. First sip is very much about those two spices, with a bit of pumpkin flavor and malt, finishing with a bit of hops. This is a tasty, sweet porter, quite different from most.

Not a big porter fan, but this tasted like a ginger bread cookie. Very good and I saw quite a few people drinking it.
